
(Via cleantechnica.com) Ecotricity – a British green energy supplier – has been working on a new marine energy system known as ‘Searaser‘ which will now move into its next phase of development having completed wave tank testing Plymouth University’s CoastLAB. Searaser is different to other marine energy systems , instead of generating the electricity out at sea, it will use the motion of the waves to pump high pressure seawater into shore based turbines.
