(Via The Guardian) Sir James Dyson, the eponymous inventor of the Dyson vacuum, plans to create a new campus at the headquarters of Dyson UK in Malmesbury, potentially creating up to 3,000 jobs. He has also pledged £50m of funding for UK universities to facilitate the creation of an external research programme. An additional £200m is slated to go to South-East Asia to capitalise on an expected manufacturing boom.
